a) Sylvain Despretz drew his aliens in a stylised way with small featured long thin heads and large heavy hands and feet. The first drawing has large feet with long toes The drawing shows us familiar features of the final alien design for Alien Resurrection such as the tail with spines almost forming a fin and the digits reduced to four with two large fingers on the large hands. The odd slightly flatted at the back shape of the head is also quite similar to the final creature as well. The creature seems to be crawling along the sides of a shaft.

b) The second image has no signature but we might look at the first one and notice enough similarities in the artist's stylised to suggest that it seems to be by Syvlain Despretz. The feet of the creature resemble very large reptile or bird like claws and the shoulders have very large curved parts rising higher up than the head itself. The back pipes here almost appear to be spines with curved tips while the tai.

c) The third is a close up study by Sylvain Despretz according to the DVD set. If it is by him, the head has a slightly small quality as with his stylised drawings of the alien, but the illustration explores the body of the creature close up as an interpretation of Giger's third version of a concept for the Alien humanoid (see bottom image for comparison)
